Privacy Policy

Effective September 11, 2026

1. Scope

This policy explains how SlateGauge handles personal information and project data when you use the website, account portal, analysis tools and support channels.

2. Information we collect

3. How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, store project materials, perform requested analysis, generate and deliver reports, manage complimentary or paid access, provide support, troubleshoot failures, prevent abuse, maintain audit records, comply with law and improve reliability and usability.

4. Artificial-intelligence processing

Project materials and selected project information may be transmitted to artificial-intelligence service providers to generate requested analysis. Because provider practices and account settings can change, SlateGauge does not promise a broader use restriction than the terms and data controls actually applicable to the provider account at the time of processing.

5. Service providers

SlateGauge uses third-party providers for services such as hosting, database storage, authentication, file storage, artificial-intelligence processing, website infrastructure and, when enabled, payment processing. These providers process information to perform services for SlateGauge and may maintain operational or security logs under their own retention practices.

6. Sharing

We do not disclose project materials to other customers. Information may be shared with service providers, professional advisers, authorities where legally required, or in connection with a legitimate corporate transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards and applicable law.

7. Security

SlateGauge uses access controls and private project/report storage intended to reduce unauthorized access. No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

8. Retention and deletion

Project-level retention is described in the Data Retention & Deletion Policy. When you use the in-product Delete Project control, SlateGauge attempts to remove the project record, associated uploaded project files and generated reports from active application storage. Limited information may persist temporarily in infrastructure backups, security logs, legal records or provider systems according to applicable retention schedules.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, object to certain processing, or request information about data practices. You may also delete eligible projects using the product's deletion controls. Submit privacy requests through the Support page.

10. International processing

SlateGauge and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Applicable privacy safeguards and legal rights vary by jurisdiction.

11. Children

SlateGauge is intended for professional and adult users and is not directed to children.

12. Changes

This policy may be updated as the service, providers or legal requirements change. The effective date will be updated when a revised version is published.

13. Contact

Privacy questions and requests can be submitted through the SlateGauge Support page.
